7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for site functionality and Umami for privacy-focused analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
8. Email engagement tracking
When we send you transactional emails (screening results and follow-up educational content), we measure engagement in two ways:
Open tracking
Each email includes a small, invisible image hosted on our own domain (adhdtestonline.net). When your email client loads this image, it tells us the email was opened. Some email clients (notably Apple Mail with Privacy Protection enabled) may pre-load images automatically, which can affect accuracy. If your email client blocks images, the open is not recorded. No personal browsing data is collected through this image; only the fact that an email was opened and which email template it was.
Click tracking
Links in our emails include standard URL parameters (UTM tags) that identify the traffic source as our email when you visit our website. These parameters are read by Umami, our privacy-focused analytics service, to count how many subscribers visit the site from email. We do not use link-wrapping or redirect tracking; links go directly to our website. UTM parameters do not contain personal identifiers.
Both forms of tracking are used solely to understand aggregate email performance (open rates, click rates) and improve our content. The data is stored on our infrastructure (Upstash Redis for opens, Umami Cloud for clicks) and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. You can unsubscribe from all emails using the link at the bottom of any message.
9. Children's privacy
This service is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.
10. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
